MEMORIAL EXPERIENCES 2014
We invite all who participated in the commemoration of the 2014 Memorial Supper to share their experiences of the night for the encouragement of all who recognize their sonship with God and the one living hope – sons worldwide and from all denominations.
Please include information on where you held your Supper, how it was conducted, how many participated, what city/state/country you are located in, and any encouraging experiences. All such experiences will be published here, with the permission of the contributors.
Our goal is to eventually get the entire world of Christianity, and even the entire planet, to recognize and honor our Creator Son of God who materialized in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. (Colossians 1:15-16)
May 19, 2014 - From Reno, Nevada
[Telephonic report from a former Elder] He sends his greetings to all associated with AnointedJW and he wanted to inform us of the growth that is still taking place long after the 2014 Memorial Supper. He reports that more and more former “friends” of God are now becoming “sons” of God. Each weekend since the Memorial, there have been several who in the congregations locally, and some who have driven from as far away as Arizona, who gathered so that they could partake with fellow believers. They range in age from 15 to 67. There were about 4 or 5 on one Saturday, then the following Saturday another 3 or 4, ever since the Memorial. This brother believes strongly that the sons of the Kingdom are taking over. He says that we are taking back what is rightfully ours and so without letup he wants all brothers and sisters to continue to preach the good news, the authentic message of Jesus Christ, and he wishes everyone well all over the earth.
May 19, 2014 – From Midwest United States
[From a former Circuit Overseer] Hello dear friends, I wanted to express my joy to you in that brothers and sisters are still openly confessing union with Christ. Just this weekend, 8 disciples, former "friends" of God became "sons." Yes, 3 brothers and 5 sisters as young as 19 and as old as 73. The excitement and buzz going around is that if you’re not a son, you’re the walking talking dead. So many of the expressions of the friends are as follows "have you been transferred?" And it's funny, many are saying “not yet but I'm working on it!” Indeed beautiful things are taking place all over the world, so without let up, keep sounding the alarm and ringing the bell of truth, love you friends and I hope the Experiment goes well!!
April 29, 2014 - From Stockholm, Sweden
Good evening brothers. The memorial in Stockholm went well. We did not go to the Kingdom Hall. Rather we followed your suggestion and got together in a private home for a simple arrangement with wine and bread. While there, we partook of the emblems and discussed the meaning and the importance of the great event. It was first time for us, but the spirit of occasion felt genuine and natural even if some us still struggle with personal issues. Afterwards we felt more ready than ever to stand up for the simple truths of Christ. Since then, I personally have had 5 interesting discussions with active witnesses. One of them is a former missionary and for the moment an active elder and pioneer. (I studied with him 25 years ago) Will see the out come of the conversations. I know that my friends have had similar experiences since the memorial. To summarize 4 of us partook in a private home in Stockholm City. The great support from you made it possible for us to overcome negative feeling and thinking influenced by the teaching of the selected few. Again thank you very much and keep up your good work.
April 24, 2014 - From a Recovery Mission in Reno, Nevada
[These brothers held two Memorial Suppers a few days apart. The first one was noted below on April 14, 2014] Good Morning Dear Friends, I mean to write you sooner but things have been pretty busy around the Mission since the Memorial. We had a great night of being filled with the spirit of God and enjoying the communing with Jesus, this year 184 partook and many members of their families also joined in the becoming one with Christ. We sang songs from many different backgrounds and discussed the article and "An intimate Evening with Jesus" and you could tell it reached the heart because of the expressions on there faces. This ministry has changed so many lives and I thank God the Father that I can have a share in it, so thank you to you both and love you so much, take care of your health my friend.
April 20, 2014 - Report From India
“A physician, as well as his wife and children had a most faithful of nights such as had not occurred in his home. The spirit of truth was allowed to flow freely as they spoke of the grand opportunity it is to honor the Lord by accepting their place in the Kingdom of God as heirs. They read all of the Memorial Articles, but during the reading of the Remembrance article, the oldest daughter’s car was blown up by an opposing religious sect. Yet they continued faithfully being caught up in the spirit. One of the little girls said ‘let it burn Papi, we can always replace it. We still have more Jesus to do.’ So throughout the night with complete joy of heart, they partook and prayed that this be forever done as a family and that others may join them in their home next time they come together. There is so much for them to learn but they shall, for their hearts are complete toward the Universe Father and the Master Son Christ Jesus.”
April 19, 2014 - From a Group of Recovery Missions in Colorado
[From two graduates of a Los Angeles recovery mission who are now serving in a missionary capacity to other recovery missions as ambassadors of the plain and open teachings.] Hello family, I was hoping [another brother] would have emailed you but I guess he didn't. Anyway we had a really emotional Remembrance gathering of men in 3 missions. The men along with family members totaled at least 1200, and of that number, 800 or so partook and many of the family members partook to make it a family night of Kingdom believers. I've been so worn out that I got sick, but I'm coming around now. I hope that all the missions, churches and private homes had a joyous time in contemplating all the beauty of Jesus’ manhood and his Kingship. Never a day goes by where you both are not mentioned with so many appreciative guys that have found new meanings to life because of the articles and emails. We read them all, so for them I thank you. [Another brother] is keeping very busy teaching the plain teaching of Jesus to the group of guys getting ready to leave us and head into the new life as Christians. So take care Mama Fingers and you too [brother]. Love you both.
April 17, 2014 - Report From Hawaii
In Hawaii, 14 brothers and sisters gathered at the beach to commemorate the Memorial as a kind of luau. Up until sundown, they sang songs, played the ukelele and accordion and danced. Others who were also at the beach were attracted to the music and asked what was going on. The brothers explained that tonight was the annual commemoration of the Memorial Supper in remembrance of the glorious life of Jesus Christ. By sunset, 41 people had joined them. They read from the article An Intimate Evening with Jesus and told the joiners that because of their faith in Jesus, they were about to partake of the bread and wine as he instructed. They said they appreciated all those who have joined with them in song and that they were welcomed to stay and participate. But this is not just a recognition for today, it is for the rest of your life. If they do not wish to stay and participate, then please just walk away, no harm done. They want this to be the luau of all luaus in communing with the Son of God. The brothers gave them a few minutes, but no one moved away. Instead, they moved closer in. All 41 partook and afterward, resumed singing, and dancing around the fire. Everyone exchanged numbers and agreed to stay in touch.
April 17, 2014 - Report From the Dominican Republic
There were a lot of small groups numbering from 7 to 16 who joined together to commemorate and partake in the Memorial Supper. Some who could not attend a group, joined in by speakerphone. In one group, an older brother about 82 years old who was bedridden was asked to offer prayer. His voice was a little frail so everyone had to be very quiet and lean in to hear the prayer. All were overjoyed with the evening and the brother who could not be there felt privileged to participate in this way with the group.
April 17, 2014 - Report From Chile
Many congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Chile held their Memorial Suppers outdoors because of the earthquakes and aftershocks. As a result, many onlookers joined in and started partaking to the chagrin of the Elders who were trying to get them to stop partaking. But it didn’t work! Many non-Jehovah’s Witnesses partook of the emblems in honor of Christ Jesus in Chile courtesy of the Watchtower Society.
April 16, 2014 - From San Francisco, California
Hello brothers, we write you with nothing but joy in our hearts having for the first time partaken of the emblems and really feeling like we belong to Christ for real. We also had a second gathering at our home after the Kingdom Hall Memorial where some friends in the congregation were so curious as to why we did what we did. And so after explaining basically the article "Does this Stumble You?" They said, well maybe next year when we get the chance. We said “next year? Dear brother and Sister tomorrow isn't guaranteed why not right now?!” After some time went by and more conversation, they said “let's do it” and so they partook. And not only did they, but he already being an elder called the rest of the elder body to inform them what had taken place and told them “this coming week, I'd like to meet with you brothers to explain my reasoning.” Well, you can see why this is the most memorable Memorial ever. The Father's spirit is active more than ever. I believe in many ways this is an epic time to be alive to witness the revival of the message of Jesus. Your site has been a great source of encouragement, so my family as well as others I know who express the code words "plain and open" really appreciate the scriptural research you provide so that the word speaks for itself. God be with you and all the Sons of inheritance.

[We received this report orally from brothers who partook at a Kingdom Hall] Before the Memorial, 4 individuals had definitely decided to partake. Prior to the Memorial, a former Circuit Overseer who is a partaker was speaking to an elder who was also one of the 4 determined partakers, sharing their hopes that others would step up and also partake. As the emblems were passed, another person spontaneously partook and you could hear the “oooo’ and ‘ahhh’ in the audience. Then another spontaneously partook, and another and another. You could hear in the audience ‘he did it’, ‘she did it’ ‘did he do it?’ ‘she did it.’ It was like spontaneous combustion, like fireworks and a swell in the voices. When it was completed a total of 17 partook at the Kingdom Hall. Afterward when speaking to the new partaker, the brother discovered that most had been wanting to partake for 20-40 years, but for some reason this night was the night. The brother emphasized that there was no coercion on the part of any of the determined partakers. It was a total surprise. They said the spirit just hit them at that moment. Each one said ‘it just felt right, I can’t say why, but it just felt right!’ Among the 17, there were 3 teenagers, all regular pioneers. While they were expressing their own excitement of why they partook, an elder who was not a partaker approached, but after hearing them speak, he just turned and walked away, apparently astounded at the faith of these young ones. Out of the mouth of babes! As the brother was sharing the experience with us, we could hear in the background ‘woo-hoos’ of excitement, mostly from brothers and sisters in their 60s and 70s. The excitement was so high because of how spontaneous everything happened. The whole Hall erupted in jubilation. They wanted us to state that none of the 17 are weak, fading, or barely making meetings. They were all dedicated lovers of God who finally made their hope known. They said that the spirit of God is roving about, something special is indeed happening on earth!

Dear Anointed Brothers and Sisters, So glad to read so many emails from the ones who celebrated the Memorial and some for the first time. My family and I celebrated in my home Tuesday evening with scriptures and personal experiences. This was our first time to celebrate on the very anniversary date Nisan 14. By visiting your web site, it made us all aware of that special date. There were 5 in attendance, plus Jesus of course. Wherever 2 or 3 are gathered in his name, He is there. The evening was very meaningful to us all. This is not confidential, Thank you for all that you do, Love Love Love your ministry.
April 16, 2014 - From Cleveland, Ohio
Hello Brothers, My son and I had a beautiful private Memorial in our home. We became first time partakers and prayed for God's spirit. Though we missed our brothers at the Kingdom Hall very much, we did not want to be the only ones at the hall partaking. I certainly hope we can do this with more brothers next year or perhaps with skype-like hook-up. Lots of love.
April 16, 2014 - From Sweden
Dear Brothers! What wonderful experiences these new member of Christ give us. May all of Christianity stand as one. I partook alone, a bowl of soup and Candle in all simplicity. I’ve been blessed already, not going in to details. Cańt wait for your new website, it́s good that it́s neutral when it comes to denominations, or non-denominations for that matter. Take care
April 15, 2014 - From Reno, Nevada
Dear friends let me be quick with the tally of new sons as 44. But total partakers stand strong at 150 and the number only deceased from last year is because the friends are now spread out all over these United States and they are all doing quite well regarding growth for the Kingdom. And let me just say, we did a bit of an overhaul on the Outline where it was strange if you did not partake! That's right and not ashamed to say it. And if they'd like to send another Bethelite, we'd love to be of assistance to them "again."
April 15, 2014 - From Beverly, Ohio
Hello again, just wanted to let you know we held our memorial supper in a private home. Seven attended and we read from the bible and from your article an Intimate Evening with Jesus. It was wonderful and all attended were first time partakers. So add us to the group and have a great week. With Christian love as always.
April 15, 2014 - From Santa Cruz, California
Greetings to Sons of the Kingdom, we had 64 partakers and of that number half were first timers and it was a night that none will soon forget, with joy songs of all kinds and contemplations of our future goals and our future with the glorious Christ in Heaven. We hope your memorial was a joyful victorious Remembrance of a great Man, a terrific brother, an awesome Leader, and a magnificent Sovereign of our Universe as Eternal Father.
April 15, 2014 - From the Cincinnati, Ohio
[From a former Circuit Overseer] Good day friends, the Memorial was privately spectacular having 33 partakers and no onlookers it was a first for all of us to do it that way but we can promise the Father in Heaven it won't be our last. We read theRemembrance article and quoted from the Intimate Evening as we reconsecrated our lives to " follow the lamb wherever he goes." We pray all who said they would partake actually partook if not then theirs nothing wrong with today or tomorrow dear friends, may The love of Christ be with you all!!
April 15, 2014 - From Tampa, Florida
After 30+ years of being Jehovah Witnesses, we did not go to the Kingdom Hall's Memorial... but we experienced the true Memorial of Christ at home. Me, my wife and my 2 daughters, had a very intimate dinner and for the first time ever we ate and drink of the emblems after the meal. It felt right! It felt great! We also created and shared a small but effective computer presentation for our daughters so we could explain the importance of the day and why we were doing it differently this year.
April 14, 2014 - From Poland
[Translated from Polish] Hello Dear brothers, united in our Lord Jesus Christ. I’m in a hurry to let you know that the Supper of the covenant with Jesus Christ, I partook in my apartment "alone", in the presence of our Lord and King. I read Mattheew, and John chapters 12 to 21, I watched two videos about Jesus - The Gospel of John - Part 2, and Jesus of Nazareth - Part 4, on which I started crying like a baby and I felt as if I was present there. The love of Jesus Christ, also today, is spreading more and more, but the fear of people and expulsions and persecution inhibits his purpose. Jesus said, "I have overcome the world,” so all who follow Him and put their trust in Him also shall overcome and defeat their enemies. Love and God's righteousness there is no way to stop it. I hope that more and more "Witnesses" chose for themselves Jesus Christ instead of ‘Barabbas,’ and then the countless multitudes of white-robed brothers are able to stand before the throne of God and of the Lamb - Jesus Christ. I wish you all the courage in the daily following of our Lord and King, and the blessings of God in everything you do. I love you all and I miss the day where we all shall meet. I ask you also to pray for me. Thank you once again Beloved, Your sister in the Lord.
[In Polish] Witajcie Kochani Bracia, zjednoczeni w naszym Panu Jezusie Chrystusie.
Spiesze Wam doniesc, ze Wieczerze Przymierza z Jezusem Chrystusem, spozywalam w swoim mieszkaniu "sama", w obecnosci naszego Pana i Krola. Przeczytalam z Ew. Jana rozdzialy od 12-go do 21. Obejzalam dwa Filmy o Jezusie "Das Johanes Ewangelium-teil.2" oraz "Jesus von Nazareth - teil.4", na ktorych splakalam sie jak bobr i czulam sie jak gdybym byla tam obecna. Milosc Jezusa Chrystusa, rowniez dzisiaj, rozprzestrzenia sie coraz bardziej, lecz strach przed ludzmi i wykluczeniami oraz przesladowaniami, hamuje przyznanie sie do Niego. Kocham Was wszystkich i tesknie do dnia, w ktorym sie wszyscy spotkamy. Prosze Was rowniez o modlitwy za mnie. Dziekuje Wam Kochani raz jeszcze, Wasza siostra w Panu.

Hi Dear Brothers. Tonight I was still the only one partaking at the kingdom hall. I passed the bread and wine to the brothers and was waiting for someone to partake. No one did. Only me. I have been waiting for years that someone else would be doing it in my congregation. The speaker gave many reasons why not to partake. He read scriptures from the book of Isaiah promising paradise to the audience. Hopefully next year the Spanish brothers will start opening their eyes to the real good news that we are all sons of God and not just friends. Warm Christian Love to all.
April 14, 2014 - From a Recovery Mission in Reno, Nevada
Hello and not good evening, but God Evening to you all. Well all 303 members of the Mission are truly feeling blessed this night. We are singing and praising the Father like never before with a challenge to not just be sons, but productive sons from now on! We read two articles tonight with each member reading a paragraph from the Intimate Evening and Most Holy Night and then opened it up to contemplations on what we want to do when we come into glory in the Kingdom. Dear Brother, new expressions of the Father’s limitless love is being realized. I'm humbled on the way this all got started with your visit, but let me say that I'd screw up a million times over if the fruits would produce the same reaping of sons. As far as earthly fathers go, you are my dad, and I hope I'm able to, along with so many others, be able to show just how much you emptied yourself for us, because I know you, and you won't take credit for anything. But truth be told, you’re quite the man. So to all participants tonight, we stand united with you our brothers and sisters.
April 14, 2014 - From Winchendon, Massachusetts and Puerto Rico
Greetings and blessings my beloved brethren in Christ. We had our dinner of the Lord in our home. Before dinner we enjoyed a film based entirely on the Gospel of Luke. Then we had a family dinner and immediately after, we celebrated the Lord's Supper. We read the account of how Christ instituted the Supper in Matthew, Mark and Luke, plus we read Jesus' words in John 6:50 onwards. As I live in Massachusetts, my parents joined via telephone from Puerto Rico and also participated. Counting my parents, wife, brother in law, daughter and I, we were six involved. We concluded the evening with a beautiful Gospel song. We were Full of joy.
April 14, 2014 - From Dallas, Texas
Hello family, what an evening we had! And to our surprise, a Bethel brother came as a guest of his sister who is a partaker, and as they say, the rest is history. That's right, this devoted earther now wants to be apart of the body of Christ. "Who knew?" You see, a brother visiting spoke tonight on the article "An Intimate Evening with Jesus" and the brother from Bethel cried tears of joy. The speaker stopped and said “brother everything is fine, you’re just enjoying what it feels like to be alive.” So this is where it got interestingly strange. One person stood up and said "Hi my name is Karen and I'm a son of God." Then spontaneously, the next person and the next said it, and when it came to the Bethel brother, he stood up and said "Hi my name is Stewart and I am a son of God." The place went bonkers (what ever that is), but is was a breakthrough on an epic scale. All 171 are now exchanging addresses and numbers. This night is taking on a whole new expression of God on earth or as you've expressed "bringing heaven down." I’ll email you when we get final figures, but for now, we are rejoicing in the Lord’s gift of life, OMG! We can't wait.
April 14, 2014 - From Brazil
Hi Brothers: I have celebrated the Lord's Supper in home with my family. We are happy to follow our Lord Jesus in freedom. I hope all Jehovah's Witnesses can understand the importance of partaking in the Lord's Supper such as the apostles taught us. Kind Regards, your brother.
April 14, 2014 - From Germany
Hello, we had a great day today for my family doing Christ’s dinner. You would have been proud of me where I was nice all day my wife said, and she and my son said how I have changed and now I'm a Jesus man through and through. I spoke of the heavens to friends who wanted to share in the festivities and it all came together. We love you all and God bless.
April 14, 2014 - From Santa Cruz, California
[We received telephone call from a former Elder, and active brother, who was at a private Memorial Supper in a restaurant. We could hear the enthusiastic conversations in the background. He told us that the capacity of the room they reserved only holds 75 people, but the crowd has almost doubled. And so as opposed to being out of compliance with the law, he asked if it would be appropriate to have another Memorial Supper tomorrow night. We said, as Jesus and Paul said 'as often as you come together,’ so if you come together tomorrow, honor Christ tomorrow as well. The brother suggested that due to the number of interested brothers constantly showing up, they might be there all week! Praise to the Father and his Glorious Son! We look forward to hearing further happenings from this particular group. And when we do, we will post it here.]
April 14, 2014 - From Atlanta, Georia
Dear friends we are still enjoying the Evening Supper but the attendance was greater than we anticipated. Over 100 participated, but more heard by phone what was going on and asked if it was too late. We said 'of course not, come on over.' When they arrived, we stopped and prayed as one united family and they partook and it renewed our spirit all over again. We may be here all night. You can't get this type of freedom in the Kingdom Hall and that's a shame, it really is dear bro and sis. But we hold out hope still because many want to be in union with Christ but are afraid to, but we'll get them if it be his will. Gotta go now but love you all and wherever friends are gathered tonight, let your light shine bright and go out and tell a friend the glory of your hope!!

Our memorial celebration went well in this Jubilee year of Goodwill to bring heaven down. It was nice to discuss the wonderful example of Jesus of Nazareth to the position of ‘all authority’ in the heavens and earth. Being just the two of us in a quiet motel room, for the first time we felt comfortable in really feeling for his life and death. We couldn’t help but imagine that this was more than an ordinary memorial this year but one that was significant of having faith sons truly in line with the Father’s will and we could imagine millions if not trillions of celestial beings watching on with our Lord blessing this arrangement. This event was so different to what we had attended for years at Kingdom Halls, when we think of the anti-Christ feeling and offensive behavior in not letting everybody join in union with Jesus. What a new era this is of Jesus religion being once again introduced on a higher level to this modern 21st Century. Each of us now needs to stand firm and loyal inviting many more into the kingdom of God. May there be peace at this time.

Today it was my first Memorial Supper! I'm very happy that I could share this meal with Jesus. I did it myself at home because my wife went to the congregation. Now is my new beginning :)

To all at AnointedJW, we in the northern parts of the USA want to thank you brothers for being drivers in the hope of Heaven for all. A group of pioneers, servants and elders numbering 11 and many others publishers and folks from various surrounding cities have made our private time with Jesus the best ever. We read from the bible along with many of your articles and we laughed and cried together all with joy of heart. The experience for the 44 of us I believe will last a lifetime because it felt right. After so many years attending the Kingdom Hall Memorials, last night felt real. I wish I'd been brave enough to have done it this way years ago, but better late than never. We've all been talking through the day today all the spirit of God we all felt, we can't wait to get together again. Once again brothers thank you for spearheading a most worthy cause because it does mean life.

Dear Brother and Sister, After 11 years I will today have memorial in private. Thank you for your spirit guided work...God’s blessing to both of you.
April 13, 2014 - From San Diego, California
[From a former Elder] Dear AnointedJW, We just concluded our Memorial event this Sunday evening. We had a very intimate and small gathering of 10 of us with two new partakers. We are delighted to see how the people we share the good news with are growing spiritually stronger and expressing firm conviction in the heavenly hope. Thank you for your ministry. It has helped us to focus on the very heart of the good news and helped us identify the dangers of organized religion. When truth seeking people stop being distracted by religions of authority and their self-promoting teachings and doctrines, they grow spiritually very quickly and accept the anointing of the Christ eagerly. We look forward to your new website. May you continue to have our heavenly Father's blessing.
